The actual project activities are absolutely necessary, but the added value of the project is also highly important and is represented by the behavior change of community members in the area, favorable education in the spirit of environmental protection (ecotourism) and for the purpose of understanding the need to protect and conserve the species and habitats within the site.
This process requires a constant flow of information on the rights and benefits of maintaining the current biodiversity in the protected area, so that the project has a secure and long-term impact. In this way, it will contribute to diminishing and even eliminating the activities that can endanger the natural environmental support system, such as: uncontrolled tourist activities, land clearing, illegal and excessive hunting.
Therefore, the message sent through these information, education and awareness actions is meant to provoke a positive reaction, a behavior or attitude change of the target group and the stakeholders regarding the protected natural areas, no matter the social, economic and political system.
